Additional VA Benefit

Aid & Attendance — extra support for those who need it most

Veterans who require the regular aid of another person for daily living may qualify for the VA's Aid & Attendance benefit — a higher pension rate on top of standard VA compensation.

Many veterans and their families don't know this benefit exists or that they qualify. If you or a loved one needs extra help at home or in a care facility, we can help you understand your eligibility and what documentation you'll need.

Personal Care Assistance

Help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility for veterans who need another person's aid.

Nursing Home & Assisted Living

Benefits can help cover the cost of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or in-home care services.

Housebound Benefit

For veterans permanently disabled and substantially confined to their home — a separate benefit available even without a caregiver.

Surviving Spouse Eligible

The Aid & Attendance benefit also extends to surviving spouses of veterans who meet the requirements.
